Who is Adam Heimerman?
A Life Rooted in East Tennessee
Adam Lee Heimerman is a 7th generation East Tennessean and has always been passionate about his home. He grew up understanding the value of hard work, the importance of reliability, and the strength of Appalachian resilience.
He spent ten years working with the river guiding community across our nation and spent more time outdoors than in. Adam is the type of man who chose morals over money, and experiences over material wealth. He does not desire a career in politics nor personal enrichment, and that is what we need most in these trying times, a man with integrity, strength, and morality.
Adam is running for Congress because he believes East Tennessee deserves a representative who actually listens to the people, not corporate donors or foreign governments. Adam believes in defending the Constitution and uniting Americans behind common goals, not dividing by party lines.
He brings ideas to the table, but wants all of us to participate in the process of finding the best solution for the most people. We all have the right to be heard and know our leaders possess empathy for those they represent. He will never erode our civil liberties due to political pressure. His childhood hero was Davy Crockett, a famous Tennessean pioneer, and embodies his spirit in the modern day.

Adam has never let money or power compromise his principles. Known for making tough decisions and standing tall in the face of opposition. Doing the right thing can be tough, but he has the shoulders to carry the burden.
Resilience
Raised on Appalachian grit, Adam knows what it means to work hard, face adversity, and keep going. That same resilience drives his campaign. He may be one man, but with a community behind him, this man becomes an army.
Community
East Tennessee isn't just where Adam lives, it's who he is. Seven generations of family roots mean he has skin in the game for this community's future.
Empathy
A decade guiding rivers taught Adam to listen, adapt, and lead. He views life through other peoples eyes and truly takes time to understand them. In order to find a solution that best fits everyone, he first takes a walk in their shoes to better understand their struggles.

Why Adam Is Running
East Tennessee has been represented by career politicians who answer to lobbyists and party bosses instead of the people who sent them to Washington. Adam has watched as the cost of living has skyrocketed, our public lands have been threatened, and working families have been left behind all while those in power collected checks from the very corporations causing the harm.
Adam isn't running for a career. He's running because someone has to stand up and say enough. He will serve with the same dedication he brought to every river he guided: focused, proactive, and accountable to the people depending on him.
